Yesterday, we visited Wat Taachum and its abbot, Ajahn Toon—a resident monk at American Buddhist Meditation Temple from about 2002-2012. Ajahn Toon’s sense of humor, irony, and his solid use of the English language were apparent quickly. We enjoyed lunch and a short chat at this charming and beautiful little temple.
